Career Coach & Course Tutor
Kirsty Tifft is a business psychologist and qualified chartered accountant specialising in career development and change coaching. She works with senior and middle management clients, primarily in the private sector (finance and professional services).
Prior to retraining as a psychologist (MSc City University 2011) Kirsty spent 20+ years working in blue chip financial services companies, in the UK and USA, with experience in accounting, internal and external audit, operational risk and human resource management. As a result, her coaching practice incorporates a practical understanding of the dynamics at play in professionally demanding work environments.
In addition to being a CCS trained career coach, Kirsty is also a bereavement counselor and does pro-bono work for the UK charity Cruse Bereavement Care. In her coaching practice she has a particular interest in supporting people through loss and bereavement and is uniquely placed to understand the impact grief can have on all aspects of a person’s life, including work performance.
Kirsty is a member of the British Psychological Society, the Association for Coaching, the Association for Business Psychology, and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. She is qualified and registered to administer a range of personality tests and provide psychometric feedback.
