After 18 years in Talent Acquisition, I felt a pull towards a more impactful career aligned with my values. My psychology background and desire to help others navigate career changes led me to Career Coaching. Building a successful practice, I eventually found myself drawn to mentoring new coaches, guiding them to build their own thriving businesses. This became my primary focus, combined with a passion for supporting parents returning to the workforce after leave.
My journey was significantly shaped by CCS. The framework and exercises provided the foundation for my career change programme, giving me the confidence to launch my practice. The network and ongoing development opportunities have been invaluable. While the CCS programme equipped me with the necessary skills, I learned that building a successful coaching business requires more than just qualification. It takes dedicated effort, a clear niche, and effective marketing – a lesson I now impart to the coaches I mentor.
Today, I’m driven by helping aspiring coaches create impactful and profitable businesses. I also continue to find immense satisfaction in empowering returning parents in their careers. The variety of people, the deep connections formed, and the flexibility of my coaching career are what I cherish most. CCS has been instrumental in my journey, providing tools and training that I continue to apply across my different coaching specialities.
