Alex Rooney joined Career Counselling Services in 2008 and has a rather varied background. Born and raised in Vienna where she went to the Lycee Francais and took her baccalaureat, she later went to Lausanne to do a degree in Hotel Management. She lived and worked in several European countries and speaks German, French and Italian fluently and intermediate Polish too.
Alex has often changed direction in her professional life, always following her intuition and what life had to offer at that moment. She is a true “Lebenskuenstler” (life artist) and adapts easily to new situations. Life means constant development and we never stop learning – that concept and her love of people has brought her to CCS, where she tries to organise all the coaches and course tutors and carries out the daily administrative tasks to run the operation.
